Kitchenaid Icecream Maker

I haven't had home made icecream since I was a child.

I think I want an icecream maker for my Kitchenaid. Is it worth $200 or will my new toy bore me after a couple of weeks?

    Oh I woud love to know if the ice cream maker actually works. I have been thinking about getting one for ages and would love to have some tried and true reviews before doing so. Do you know anyone who has one? Thank you,
